Terms of Service

CareerQ provides resume building, ATS checking, job discovery, and application tracking tools. We may update, improve, or discontinue features as the product evolves, and we will communicate material changes in advance where reasonable.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
• One account per person. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@careercopilot.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't own or have no right to share.
• Submit false information in job applications sent through the platform.
• Attempt to breach, probe, or overload our systems, or circumvent access controls.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute platform content or other users' data.
• Use the service for anything unlawful or harassing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice for serious abuse.

• Paid plans bill in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled case by case — contact us within 14 days of payment and we'll make it right.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to time already paid for.

You own your resumes and everything you create on CareerQ. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, display, and process your content to operate the service (for example, rendering PDFs and computing ATS scores). We claim no ownership over your work.

CareerQ improves your applications but cannot guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes. Hiring decisions belong to employers. ATS scores are guidance based on best practices, not a promise of any result.

You may delete your account at any time from settings, which stops these terms for future use. We may suspend or terminate service for violations of these terms or for extended inactivity, with reasonable effort to let you export your resumes first.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerQ is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or the cost of one month's subscription, whichever is greater.

We may revise these terms as the product grows. Material changes take effect 30 days after notice by email or in-app message. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
